At the end of the course the attendee should be able to:
Understand the various arrhythmia mechanisms in children and in patients with CHD.
Perform diagnostic work-up and treat commonly encountered supraventricular and ventricular arrhythmias according to the current guidelines/consensus statements.
Know the role of catheter ablation therapy in paediatric and CHD patients.
Diagnose and manage bradyarrhythmias.
Discuss the diagnostics and treatment of channelopathies and arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathies, including interpretation of genetic testing and risk assessment.
Understand different device implantation techniques, as well as main features of modern implantable electric devices in paediatric patients and adults with congenital heart disease
Manage early postoperative arrhythmias after surgery for CHD, and understand the risk stratification for patients with late arrhythmias.
