During the last few years, we all faced - and are still facing - extreme difficulties treating our patients while more and more devices are being withdrawn from the market. A simple example are the lacking good Rashkind catheters.
Until (hopefully) a real and general solution of the MDR problem is found, we, in the council of the Interventional Cardiology WG, decided to start a project to create an alternative devices database.
The Interventional WG has created a file with different, partly alternative to disappearing ones, devices used by us and other experts.
The database is a work in progress and members are invited to propose their additions, suggestions & remarks to the WG.
