Dear colleagues, dear members of the AEPC Interventional Cardiology Working Group,
The work of the Interventional Working Group Council has been successful over the last years, contributing to the Annual Meetings, organizing fellow courses, webinars and other educational events, but also stimulating junior members’ research. We compiled a database on devices that can be used as alternatives for materials either taken from market or threatened by the MDR. We lobbied in Brussels to make the process of CE marking easier for niche-devices. We promoted the AEPC part of the ECHSA database, the European cath-database.
To continue our work, we now need to elect new members for our Working Group Council, or re-elect colleagues.
The following positions will need to be filled for the term 2026-2029:

The deadline to send in your application is 26 March 2026.
Following the deadline, an online voting poll will be opened.
The announcement & handover to the new WG Council will be announced at the Business Meeting of our working group during AEPC 2026 Padua.
