AEPC Council elections 2024 - Submit your candidacy

This year, several positions in the AEPC Council will be opening up from the time of the AEPC 2024 Business Meeting (9 May 2024):

  • President-elect (1 year, followed by 3 years President & 1 year Past President)
  • Treasurer (5 year term)
  • Councillor (3 year term)
  • Junior Councillor (3 year term)

We therefore now invite you to make yourself available for one of these positions and join our active council to further advance AEPC!

Nominations can be submitted via email until 1 April to the Secretary General, Ina Michel-Behnke (ina.michel-behnke@meduniwien.ac.at).

For all nominations, the following rules apply:

  • Any candidate should provide a CV plus a letter of motivation.
  • The nomination is to be supported by 5 active members from 2 European countries. Note: For the President-elect position, a nomination is to be supported by 10 active members from 3 different European countries.
  • Please note that council members should originate from different countries, therefore we cannot accept nominations from the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and Ireland this year. - Note: This does not apply for the junior councillor.
  • The council may also propose candidates for the vacant positions. Members will be informed timely about the nominations from the council.

When there is more than one candidate for these positions, an online voting poll will opened within one week after the deadline for nominations, with 3 weeks for voting.

The announcement of the new council composition will be made during the Business Meeting on 9 May.
