AEPC 2023 - Activities for Juniors

AEPC 2023 - the 56th Annual Meeting of the Association for European Paediatric and Congenital Cardiology - in Dublin is just around the corner! After the great success of Geneva 2022, we can't wait to see you again in Ireland.

The scientific program is full of interesting lectures, with the update course on Hearts and Minds - The Brain in Congenital Heart Disease serving as a great kick-off on the first day of the meeting. Don't forget that AEPC 2023 will be an exceptional opportunity to socialise and build your network, also outside the congress venue!

Let me remind you of some events that are of special interest to you:

  • Lunch Junior session "Pulmonary atresia intact ventricular septum (PA/IVS)" Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 13:00-14:30 Hall 5, organised by the AEPC juniors Committee. During this session, there will be a quiz game with two winners entitled to free registration for AEPC 2024 in Porto!
  • Junior members’ party, Thursday, April 27, 2023 from 20:00 - The Junior members’ party is an informal event where AEPC junior members can get together and build connections. This will take place in a typical Irish pub. If you haven't registered for this event, feel free to make your way there to meet juniors from across Europe.
  • Lunch session “Junior interventionalists meet seniors”, Friday, April 28, 2023 from 13:00-14:30 Hall 4, organised by the AEPC interventional WG. During this session senior interventionalists will share real-world career pathway examples as well as applicable advice for fellows seeking their first role as consultant. A great opportunity to discuss in small groups of 4/5 juniors with one senior!
